Time Schedule

10am Start of our Wine and Tasting Odyssey!
At the first stop in the Deli shop downtown you will have the opportunity to taste exquisite olive oils from all over Greece while gaining unique insight regarding the olive oil production. During the tasting you will try 6 olive oils from different regions as well as varieties, discuss the organoleptic qualities of each of them and discover yourself the complexity of taste olive oil has. But the tasting journey doesn't end here, then you will explore the versatile world of honey trying a big variety from every corner of Greece. Consistency, taste and colour can vary but we promise that each of the honey, you are going to try, is of the highest quality. From the most remote mountains to the smallest islands, great producers trust us with their produce and we do our best spreading their stories and ethos.
1pm We will arrive at Ktima Gerovassiliou|, one of the most established and acclaimed wineries of North Greece. Mr. Gerovassiliou, the owner and winemaker, is credited with the revival of Malagouzia — an ancient, once-forgotten Greek grape variety that he has lovingly cultivated since the 1980s.
His love for art is prominent, as dispersed in the vineyards you will see his significant collection from Greek and international sculptors. He is also an avid collector of viticulture, winemaking, bottling and cooperage tools from around the world and especially corkscrews; all these items are displayed in the Wine Museum of the estate that we will visit during our tour. The tasting takes place in the unique area overlooking the vines and Mount Olympus, where you will taste wines, exclusively produced from Greek grape varieties, combined with aromatically compatible Greek raw materials.
4pm We’ll wrap up our adventure as we head back to Thessaloniki.
